SAMF PROJECT - MULTIPLIER SPORT EVENTS
In the framework of the dissemination of the Erasmus project on Match Fixing, the Panathlon International Ambassadors started to organise the Multiplier sport events (MSE) foreseen in the announcement with the aim of disseminating information and material among the youngsters.
The first meeting was organised by our Ambassador Gwenda Stevens (B) who shared her experience with us. On 14 October, she held a meeting with 34 young athletes (13-14 years old), during which she explained the Match-Fixing phenomenon. She also provided the young athletes with some real-life examples that happened recently in rowing. Gwenda also shared SAMF videos with the coaches and they agreed to show one of them to the young athletes. While watching the video, the youngsters paid close attention, after which they started a discussion on the topic of Match-Fixing.

The award ceremony of the Competition "SPORT, MOUNTAIN & OLYMPISM - SNOW & ICE SPORTS" organised by Panathlon International Foundation "Domenico Chiesa" in collaboration with FICTS, the Fédération Internationale Cinéma Télévision Sportifs was held on Saturday 11th November within the event SPORT MOVIES & TV 2023 - 40TH Milano International FICTS Fest.
The International President Pierre Zappelli and the Secretary of the Foundation PI-D. Chiesa Maurizio Monego, together with IB Member Giorgio Chinellato and past IB Member Renata Soliani, attended the event and proclaimed the winners:
1ST PRIZE (€3,000): LA MIA STORIA SUL GHIACCIO, by Giulia Guerra (Italy) - "Maria Ausiliatrice" School of San Donato Milanese.
2ND PRIZE (2,000 €): VERTIGO by Vidal Bruno (Swiss)
3RD PRIZE (1000€): EGOLAND by Ignasi López Fàbregas (Spain)

È una storia di sacrificio e passione quella del campione olimpico di Barletta Pietro Mennea al quale il Panathlon Club di Molfetta e la rivista “Quindici” hanno dedicato una serata per la presentazione del libro curato da Nino Vinella “La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno racconta Pietro Mennea, le pagine memorabili di una vita straordinaria. L'uomo, l'atleta, il campione” (Di Marsico editore)
E’ stata una serata dedicata all’atletica leggera anche per la consegna del Premio Fair Play 2023 a Lucia Pappagallo, Direttore Tecnico Sportivo dell’ASD Olimpia Club Molfetta.
Ad introdurre la manifestazione è stato il presidente del Panathlon Club di Molfetta, avv. Pasquale de Palma, mentre il giornalista Felice de Sanctis direttore di “Quindici” e per 25 anni giornalista della redazione economica della “Gazzetta” ha intervistato Nino Vinella, già corrispondente dello stesso quotidiano fin dal 1973.

Panathlon Club Lecce - Premio Fair Play 2023 a Ezio Candido e Fabio Corsano
Sabato 25 novembre 2023 alle ore 10.30,nell’Auditorium dell’Istituto Tecnico Industriale ‘E. Fermi’ di Lecce, via Merine, 5, il Panathlon Club Lecce conferirà il PREMIO ‘FAIR PLAY‘ 2023 a due uomini di sport salentini, che per tutta la vita hanno svolto un’intensa attività sportiva, segnalandosi per ammirevole impegno, passione e risultati conseguiti.
Il Premio ‘alla carriera nello sport’ 2023 é assegnato a Ezio Candido, ex calciatore di Lecce e Roma, per molti anni dirigente di vertice del Lecce Calcio ed esperto di management sportivo e radiotelevisivo.
Il Premio ‘alla promozione dello sport’ 2023 é assegnato a Fabio Corsano, educatore, preparatore e tecnico degli ‘Angels Matino Baseball, da molti anni instancabile propulsore di questo sport in provincia di Lecce.
Presiederà la manifestazione il Governatore dell’Area 8 del Distretto Italia del Panathlon International avv. Mario Coluzzi.

Panathlon Club Rovigo - Consegnate le borse di studio agli studenti sportivi
La cerimonia di premiazione si è svolta sabato 11 novembre nell’auditorium del Liceo Paleocapa di Rovigo.
È giunta a conclusione la seconda edizione del concorso “Scuola e Sport”, riservato agli studenti che vivono e frequentano scuole secondarie di secondo grado di Rovigo e provincia, e che abbiano raggiunto notevoli risultati “sia scolastici sia sportivi” a livello regionale, nazionale ed internazionale.
L’iniziativa è stata promossa dal Panathlon Club di Rovigo allo scopo di promuovere fra gli studenti l’attività sportiva, intesa come elemento formativo della persona e al fine di valorizzare i giovani che, con serietà d’impegno, riescono a coniugare lo sport con l’esigenza dell’istruzione e della educazione.

International Board 21st November
The next online meeting of the International Board will be held on 21st November to deepen and deliberate on some issues already discussed in Guayaquil. The topics discussed will be as follows: "Membership Awards, Panathlon International Hymn and Sports Categories".

Le eccellenze dello sport giovanile astigiano e dall’ottimo profitto scolastico sono stati premiati dall'atleta Roberto La Barbera nell’ambito del “Panathlon Day”, evento che ha visto la partecipazione di numerose autorità, tra cui il sindaco Maurizio. Anche il Governatore d'Area 3 del P.I., Maurizio Nasi, ha elogiato il Panathlon Club Asti, per l’importante iniziativa.

Panathlon Club Wallonie-Bruxelles - Une nouvelle cour du fair-play à Herve
Deux mois après une inauguration semblable du côté de Bruyères, c’est à Chaineux, ce jeudi, que l’association Panathlon Wallonie-Bruxelles et la Ville de Herve se retrouvaient pour apposer une nouvelle plaque "cour du fair-play" au sein de l’établissement.
Par cette étape symbolique, la Ville et l’école de Chaineux insistent sur les valeurs essentielles à véhiculer dans la cour de l’école, comme l’entraide, le respect, la solidarité… "Ce sont des valeurs que les élèves ont l’habitude d’utiliser dans le sport et en classe, mais qui sont un peu plus compliquées dans la cour de récréation. Nous avons un projet d’aménagement de la cour en espaces (sport, détente, etc.) et c’est une belle manière de lancer ce projet", confie Cathy Chefneux.
